I was inspired to paint these delicate lilacs in soft pastel lavenders and pinks from my visits to Mackinac Island. This perennial symbol of spring sets the focus on the Mackinac Island Lilac Festival and is the largest and most historic festival on Mackinac Island. It’s 10 days celebrating the lilacs and their uniqueness and history to Mackinac Island. This scarf will be a welcome addition to any spring wardrobe.
